Scarves are perfect statement pieces.  They can add color to a black suit, dimension to a plain solid dress and they can also add simplicity to an otherwise elaborate look.  As scarves relate to work wear, you could easily throw on a sheath dress and add a scarf with simple monotone pumps and there you have it.  They’re very versatile and chic.

Right now, my favorite type of scarf is the skinny scarf.  It resembles a tie and it can be worn like a tie.  It’s a simple scarf that could totally amp up your look.
