The holidays are here and I’m super excited (I’m sure you can tell in this picture below).  It’s literally the “most wonderful time of the year” because I get to shop for the perfect gift for my loved ones and I get to celebrate my son’s birthday.  Plus, I get to create all of this content that incorporates all of the festivities of the season!!!  The city is lit up all around Atlanta and everyone is in a great mood.  I love it!

I couldn’t wait to get a picture in front of this beautifully decorated tree at out local mall.  It matched my dress perfectly and it gave me a little glow for some reason! I’m not complaining though.

Crushed velvet is trending right on time for the holidays!  It’s literally everywhere right now.  There are crushed velvet pants, boots, blazers, tops, bags, and as you can see above, dresses.  To be honest, I wasn’t really into this trend.  But this dress totally changed my mind.  I love the material and color.  It screams holiday party!!! And so, I had to have it.

Though I love the dress, I still felt like it needed that extra “oomph” to take it to the next level.  Then, I spotted this belt.  Nope, this cute crystal embellished waist belt did not come with the dress.  But I thought it would be the perfect way to add extra glamour to this already lovely look.

Lastly, I added my handy-dandy box clutch that goes with everything!  Also, instead of red lipstick (which you know I love), I decided to go for this burgundy color from M.A.C.  The shade is called “Diva“.
