Good morning! I had a super busy weekend. But I spent it doing all the things I enjoy. I spent quality time with my son, had good drinks and food with my girls, took photos for my blog, and I cruised the city (delivering for UberEATS). I’m tired, but I’m also blessed! No complaints over here.
I started my Saturday morning with an amazing photo shoot with one of my favorite bloggers, Cindy “Priiincesss” Lafalaise of www.iam.priiincesss.com. As you can see, she did a wonderful job shooting my photos for the blog. All year, I’ve spoken about investing in my own photographer; because taking my own pictures can be a pain. I finally decided to try it out, and I really enjoyed the experience. I love the photos as well!
Later that Saturday evening, I visited Old Lady Gang (Kandi Burruss’ restaurant) here in Atlanta. I went with my line sisters and had a great time (probably too many drinks). The food was sooo good y’all!!! I felt like I was eating out of my mom’s kitchen! If you’re ever in Atlanta, make sure you try her restaurant.
Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest right?!?! Well that did not happen for me. I did a little Christmas shopping for my son Sunday morning. Then, that evening, my son, his father, and I took family holiday photos. It was a mess y’all! Sometimes I forget that I’m dealing with a toddler. And no matter how well you plan an event, if an “almost 2 year old” is involved, things will never go as planned. Elijah was all over the place. We could barely get him to sit still long enough for the photographer to snap his picture. We managed to get a couple good shots but for the most part, it was chaos. I’ve learned to shake my head and laugh it off when it comes to being a mom. Life is a lot less stressful that way.
Now I’m at work about to indulge in more good food at our holiday office party. I can see a diet in my near future, seriously! How was your weekend? I would love to hear about it! Holler at me in the comments below.
