The Perfect Accessory for a Chic Look

2018 is here and it is freezing in Atlanta!  This makes it very hard to be stylish and warm at the same time.  As a matter of fact, most of the time, I’m not even thinking about style because I’m just trying to stay warm.  I’ve pretty much resorted to oversized sweaters, skinny jeans, and cute boots to accomplish both goals (style and warmth).  In addition to that, I try to incorporate cute accessories (because most of us know that accessories are what sometimes make an outfit).

Which brings me to this lovely crossbody that was sent to me by the Pocketbook Envy team. I love this “Jewel” bag because its very similar to the Chanel Boy Chanel handbag without the hefty price tag.  Normally, crossbody bags tend to be very small and compact, but this bag is the total opposite.  It’s perfect and spacious.  I can fit many of my  important items in it, as well as my extras such as my lipstick, small notebook, cell phone, hand sanitizer, lotion, etc.

I’ve seen this type of bag styled by many bloggers and celebrities. So,  I knew exactly how I would style it when I received it. Today, I’m wearing this cute grey H&M sweater, my favorite black H&M skinny jeans, and my Jessica Simpson patent leather booties.

I wanted something to add to the simplicity of this outfit but still give it a bit of “chicness”.  So I added this crossbody.  I’m a simple girl and I love simple pieces.  Another reason I love this bag.

It’s the perfect price (less than $50) and I will be styling it with many pieces in my closet.

    i love the sweater and girl, i didn’t know that jessica simpson got some fashion line, the boots look fantastic as well… not to ignore the ‘jewel’ bag, i love it too but for someone like me, i need something bigger. 😛 *not chic at all lmao

    This is such a cute outfit — I love the whole thing! I wish I could wear something that cute and casual right now… here in Toronto, I’ve got 4ft of snow in my backyard and it’s -37C today lol!
