The hype surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding has yet to die down! So, here I am along for the ride!  Honestly, I didn’t know much about Meghan Markle before the engagement.  Actually, I didn’t even know who she was.  Since the royal wedding, however, her name has been all over the internet and magazine pages.  I even “googled” Meghan  a few times just to see what would come up.  I didn’t discover much other than the fact that, I. LOVE. HER. STYLE.  I’m so serious y’all!  It is the epitome of simple, yet classic; which, of course, is what I’m always drawn to.

What I noticed about her style is that she doesn’t do much print and she usually sticks to neutrals and solid colors.  It’s just very easy and practical.  Though her style is very simple and chic, she always manages to exude a little sex appeal.  And there is nothing wrong with that.  I love the idea of exuding sexiness without having to show all of your “lady-parts” lol!

Anyway, there was one particular look Meghan rocked that was super fitting for Summer.  She had on a matching blazer and short set with a with t-shirt underneath, a pair of nude heels, and a huge black statement bag.  See that look here.

Of course, your girl had to see how I would remix this look!  I stumbled across this jacket on a fashion blog and the skirt was recommended as a piece to wear with it.  It was really that simple.  I paired my nude sandals with the outfit and added a pop of color with my bag from New York & Company.

The coordinated shorts and blazer combination with a simple white T-shirt is perfect for that laid-back feel as well.  This look could easily be dressed down with a pair of white sneakers, yet it would still be fun and classic!

And as you can see, I followed Meghan’s suit by adding a “pale pink” lippie and kept my makeup minimal, per usual.  And there you have it!

I definitely plan to remix a few more of her looks that I loved!  Her style is perfect for us moms-on-the-go that need simple, stylish, and practical pieces to wear during the day.  Look forward to more style inspiration from the Meghan Markle in the future!
