Fall is officially here!!! And I have been drooling over all of the latest trends that have been popping up this last month. I’m not going to lie, I’ve already purchased a few pair of boots and I can’t wait to show them to you on the blog. Of course they’re all black, because that’s how I do trendy pieces, ALL BLACK. Anyway, I’ve purchased a pair of cowboy boots, a pair of patent leather boots, and a pair of slouch boots! And I still need a couple others to make my Fall boot wardrobe complete. Here is a list of my favorite boot trends for the Fall!
Cowboy Boots
It’s funny how trends are constantly rotating. I distinctly remember having a pair of brown cowboy boots that I rocked incessantly during my sophomore year of college. That would have been years 2006-2007. And now they’re back again! I loved them then, and I love them now. These boots come in so many colors and styles. However, I purchased a simple black pair (the ones from Forever 21 below). I already have so many outfit ideas for them y’all!
Zara, Animal Print Leather Cowboy Boots, $249.00
Forever 21, Faux Leather Tasseled Boots, $44.90
Patent Boots
Now, I already have a heeled version of the patent leather booties from last Fall. But, I love the flat version from Forever 21 for a more dressed up, dressed down look. This boot is another that comes in many shades. I’ve seen them in gold, silver, red, orange, etc. It doesn’t matter the color though; When you rock these babies, you will definitely make a statement! This means that, for the most part, your outfit can be very simple. Or not.
Forever 21, Faux Patent Leather Booties, $29.90
Bershka, Patent Ankle Boots, $64.00
Combat Boots
The combat boot is another trend that really hasn’t gone out style in the last few years. Now, there are a lot of new ways to style this boot. To make a feminine dress more casual, pair it with combat boots. For a biker chic look, add a graphic tee, a pair of skinny jeans, and a leather jacket. And for a chic Fall look, try the combat boots with an over-sized sweater and a cute mini skirt. The options are endless!
ASOS Design, Wide Fit Elm Chunky Lace Boots, $64.00
Jeffrey Campbell, Legion High Heel Boot, $164.95
Leopard Print Boots
Animal print is everywhere right now. It doesn’t matter if it’s a watch, a pair of earrings, a belt, eyeglass frames, etc. There is an animal print version of everything. And so, it should come as no surprise that animal print boots are “in” right now. For a subtle look, go with a flat or short heeled boot, like the Franco Sarto pair below. But, if you’re really trying to stand out, get a pair like the Katy Perry Over-the-Knee boots also below.
Franco Sarto, Bette Bootie, $99.99
Katy Perry, The Idolize Over-The-Knee Boot, $188.95
Knee High Boots
There is something very luxurious and chic about the knee high boots that I’ve seen lately. I’m already picturing myself rocking them with a cute plaid skirt and an over-sized sweater. It’s definitely the new “thigh-high” and “over-the-knee” boot of the season.
Marc Fisher, Anata Knee High Boot, $229.95
Forever 21, Faux Croc Over-The-Knee Boot, $47.90
These are some of my faves for right now y’all! I’m sure there will be more trends uncovered as the season rolls on. My advice when trying trendy pieces, is to try it in it’s most subtle form. For me, I usually choose black whenever I’m trying out a trend.
Later, if you feel like this trend really suits you, I suggest trying it in other colors and designs too! What are some boot trends that you’re currently obsessing over? Let me know in the comments below!
