I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but lately I’ve been mixing a lot more trendy pieces into my wardrobe.  I never steer too far away from my comfort zone that is simple, minimal, sleek, and chic.  But, I’m really just having fun with my personal style and trying some new things.

So, when a new trend emerges, and I actually like the trend, I try to see how I can incorporate that trend into my own personal style.  It usually works out because I keep my outfits as basic as possible; which is what I did with this trendy blouse from Zara.

With all of the animal print that we’ve been seeing lately, you probably haven’t noticed the scarf print trend.

Well, that’s why I’m here; to keep you updated on the “new-new”!  The silky scarves have always been reserved for our necks, heads, or even bags.  But, now the “powers that be” of fashion have decided that we need scarves all over our entire bodies with the help of scarf print dresses, pants, and tops.  And to be honest, I’m not mad about it.

Scarf print tops, particularly the ones that drape your body, are very forgiving.  And y’all know I talk about my “mom pudge” all the time.  So, I will always reach for pieces that distract from my mid-section.

Another reason I’m feeling this trend is because it looks very chic and expensive, yet there are a few stores like Zara, Forever 21, and ASOS that have them for great prices.

And finally, I love this trend because the styling options are endless. Of course, I’m rocking this silky scarf print top.  But, this print is available in dresses, pants, headbands, skirts, etc.  So, I’m here to tell you that you should definitely try it out!  Have I convinced you lol?!?!
