Back to the Basics: 10 Basics + 10 Outfits + 10 Days

Good Morning! So, I’ve been overdoing it with my shopping habits lately.  And with the holidays coming up (and Elijah’s birthday), I’m focusing my shopping on others.  Therefore, I’m taking a short break from personal shopping and I’m going to do a better job of dressing the items that are already in my closet.

This led me to an idea…Why not create a cute capsule wardrobe?!?!  I’ve seen so many amazing bloggers create these capsule wardrobes and come up with some great outfits.  So, I decided to give it a try.  I went to the “authority” on capsule wardrobes, Caroline Rector of Unfancy.  She has done many capsule collection challenges, so I wanted to make sure that I got it right through her guidance (her blog).  This led me to try out the 10 x 10 Fall Wardrobe Challenge.  What is this concept?  Well, you choose ten versatile basics from your closet, and create ten outfits that you will wear for the next ten days.

So, yes I will be doing something different with my blog for the next few days. I’m going back to the basics.  And of course, I had to take you along for the journey.  This will be a learning experience for all of us!!!  See all of the pieces that I will be including in my capsule wardrobe below:
