We are two weeks into the New Year and I’m still excited about what’s to come.  I’m currently working on revamping my blog into something “a little more chic”.  Yes, Officially Chic is getting a new look and a new name.  I don’t want to give too many details just yet, but just expect to get a better look into my life as I continue on the journey to becoming a better me.  I want us all to be successful! So, whatever style tips, motherhood tips, health tips, etc. that have worked for me, I plan to share them all with you. We’re about to have the best year of our lives y’all.  So, let’s get it!!!

About this look – I’ve always loved pinafore dresses; mainly, because they are perfect for layering.  I spotted this one on the ShoeDazzle website a few months ago!  The colors, shape, pattern, and fit of it was everything to me.  And it was on sale, so I had to have it. For the winter season, I find that the pinafore dress pairs perfectly with chunky sweaters and turtlenecks.  For this look, I chose a turtleneck, and I added these sleek burgundy boots.  I am completely in love with this look!!!
