Thanksgiving will be here tomorrow and all I can think about is all of the food and drinks I’m going to have.  And of course there’s the four day vacation that I’m looking forward to as well!  This year, I will be cooking a couple dishes – Mac N’ Cheese and Collard Greens!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.  I know you are just as excited as I am and I’m sure a lot of you will be traveling to visit relatives and friends during the holiday.  So, I took it upon myself to provide you with a few cute outfit ideas to get you through all of the festivities.

Chic and Comfy

This is for a laid back atmosphere.

A sweater dress is always perfect when you’re going for a comfy, yet semi-dressy look.  And because I’m sure that we will all be stretching our bellies on Thanksgiving Day, why not wear something with a little stretch to it.  I will most likely opt for black for obvious reasons!  I purchased this dress from H&M last season.  I will link a similar option below.

Okay you probably won’t need sunglasses at a family gathering.  However, the pair that I’m wearing in these photos were purchased in store from Old Navy for only $1.00.  So I had to get them and throw them on just to be extra! For some reason, on the website they’re still $12.00 though (which still isn’t bad).  But if you love these like I do, try your local Old Navy store for a pair.

This bag was another piece that I found on sale this past weekend.  It was originally $39.99 at H&M but it was marked down to $20.00!!!! Make sure you head there too for Black Friday.  I know they’re going to have even more great pieces on sale.

Chic and Glam

For a more dressy family gathering, glam it out!

This jacket is amazing! I love the satiny texture and the beautiful colors and print!  I decided that I really wanted to create a glam look with the jacket.  So, I went for velvet leggings and a silky camisole underneath.  The velvet leggings add that extra festive feel that we’re all going for around this time of the year.

I added my cute little box clutch! I will never get tired of this clutch because it literally goes with all of my dressed up looks.  These box clutches are great night-out bags that fit all of your essentials and is still glam enough to complement your looks!

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know the story of my favorite pumps.  Well guess what, I found some new ones.  And I love them.  This babies were purchased from Macy’s about a month ago.  Black pumps are a wardrobe essential.

Lastly, I added some statement jewelry for the final glam affect!

You don’t have to sacrifice comfort for style this Thanksgiving holiday! And this look is all about comfort (minus the heels of course).  Simple jeans and a t-shirt are the quintessential classic combo. But it can be a bit dull at times.  To add style, just add a simple black blazer and some cute shoes.  You’ll be perfectly attired for a casual Thanksgiving holiday and the day after!

I kept my accessories very simple and minimal in this look.  Just a small necklace and my favorite crossbody bag.  Also, don’t forget your lipstick!
