Happy MLK Day Y’all!!! I hope you’re enjoying your day off. I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting today. Mainly, I’m very grateful for the life that I get to live that is due in large part to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and MANY others. As I stated on my IG page, I feel that we should all take this day to learn a little more about him than what we were taught in school! There was so much more to Dr. King than the two pages that they gave him in our history books!
About the Look: You probably recognize this plaid duster from a previous post (see here). The great thing about plaid pieces is that they can be remixed so many different ways. So, I decided to throw this duster over this cute button up dress (seen here also). It’s actually a pretty warm outfit. What do you think of this look? I love your style and the outfits you choose. You wear them all very well. Now, that I am back working, I am going to pay more attention to your recommendations. I am still in the process of losing weight so some styles will look better on me than others, but at least I will have something to reference. Great blog and pictures!
